The first manufacturing venture, Mubina Paints & Plastics, is established in Kelva Mahim, Palghar with an installed capacity of 200 L/month. The unit begins by serving local paint requirements and marks the start of organized manufacturing operations.
A second manufacturing unit is commissioned in Ghatkopar, Mumbai to serve rising demand. The expansion strengthens market presence in a key urban centre and improves access to customers and supply chains.
Operations are relocated to Vapi and rebranded as Panchsheel Paints, with capacity scaled to 50,000 L/month. This move enables meaningful volume growth and positions the business for more consistent, large-scale supply.
A sharper strategic focus on resins is established. Panchsheel Paints is renamed Uniform Paints, and the resin division is incorporated as Uniform Synthetics. This separation creates a clear platform for coatings and synthetic resin development.
Uniform Paints achieves a key production milestone, with coatings capacity reaching 100,000 L/month. This reflects steady growth in scale, capability and operational efficiency.
Land is acquired in Dadra for a dedicated synthetic resin manufacturing facility, marking a focused investment in resin and polymer production. This step strengthens the company’s ability to support evolving customer and formulation needs.
Mr. Ameer Challawala completes his Master’s in Chemical Technology, Polymer Science, from UDCT Mumbai and joins the organization. His involvement accelerates the adoption of structured, research-driven product development and process optimization.
Mrs. Arva Challawala joins the business, strengthening integrated family-led leadership. Her participation reinforces continuity, governance and a long-term relationship-oriented approach to customers and partners.
A multi-plant manufacturing footprint across Vapi, Dadra and Sarigam is established, delivering 1000 MT/month of synthetic resin capacity. This expanded capacity enables reliable supply and flexibility for diverse formulation requirements.
The business is formally incorporated as Uniform Synthetics Private Limited, evolving into a modern, professionally managed organization while retaining the core values of a family-led enterprise.
Uniform Synthetics Private Limited operates from a 20,000 m² manufacturing footprint with 1,700+ MT/month specialty synthetic resin capacity. The company serves coatings, inks, adhesives and specialty markets worldwide, with a sustained focus on consistency, technical support and long-term partnerships.

The 20,000 m² footprint spans Vapi, Dadra and Sarigam. Each site has a defined role, while batch release, sampling, retention and QA discipline remain consistent.
The historical home of the company. It houses alkyd reactor halls, ink resin production, central QA labs and the R&D lab.
Built for epoxy curing agents and phenalkamines. The site supports marine and protective-coating production.
Polyamide and specialty chemistry capacity for larger or longer-running customer campaigns.
The Challawala family has led the business from its technical foundation through its current multi-plant structure. Technical and commercial decisions remain close to the people responsible for them.
His Paint Technology education in Pune established the technical foundation for the first manufacturing venture and the company’s later focus on synthetic resins.
After completing his Master’s in Chemical Technology, Polymer Science, from UDCT Mumbai, he joined the business in 2003 and strengthened structured product development and process work.
She joined the business in 2005, strengthening governance, customer relationships and continuity across the family-led operating model.
We work to the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. The programme includes renewable-resource feedstocks where feasible, natural-gas heating, recovered process water and solvents, zero discharge and enclosed handling.
Our company motto guides hiring, training and plant discipline. We do not take shortcuts that compromise safety or batch quality.
Every batch sample is retained for monitoring. Spec drift should be found before the customer sees it.
A dedicated lab develops resin grades for customer requirements and portfolio gaps without diluting the catalogue.
Government of India recognition for sustained export performance.
Our active export grades comply with the EU REACH regulation, so EU formulators can specify us directly.
Quality management system aligned with ISO 9001 conventions across all three plants.
Operating commitment across all manufacturing sites, water and solvents are recovered, not released.
We develop resin grades continuously, sometimes for a single customer and sometimes to close a portfolio gap seen across an industry. Examples include phenalkamine adducts for faster low-temperature cure, polyamides that hold gel at deep-freeze conditions and chain-stopped alkyds built around specific drying profiles.
Whether you are qualifying a supplier or rebuilding a formulation, start with the application, specification and documents you need.
