Linseed-based long oil alkyd for high-gloss enamels and varnishes
Unikyd L-80 is a long oil linseed alkyd at 80% solid in mineral turpentine. It is formulated for high-gloss paint enamels and clear varnishes that need depth, brushability and clean dry.
Linseed-based long oil chemistry gives Unikyd L-80 its deep penetration into wood and metal substrates, its film build, and a glossy, hard-drying finish. It is widely used as a stand-alone vehicle for clear varnishes and as the resin base in high-gloss decorative and industrial enamels.
